COMMERCIAL VIDEO PRODUCTION & TV ADVERTISING
There is the old way of Commercial Production. A central production company assembling a diverse cast of talent and production freelancers — a process that can be as challenging as it is creative. It’s a house of cards that rinses the budget but looks great on a credit list.
Then there’s the new way.
Hey, we’re Lambda Films and yeah, we’re a commercial video production company. However, we offer a different approach. We’re a plug-and-play production partner. Our model keeps an in-house production team that deliver the full range of video production services. This isn’t just about making life simpler (though, spoiler alert: it does). It’s about having a flexible approach (no hourly rates), consistent & transparent communication and a process with a pulse that can only come from a team that eats, sleeps, and breathes your project together.
For creative and advertising agencies looking for a partner who brings method to the madness, come say hi.
WHAT IS COMMERCIAL VIDEO PRODUCTION?
COMMERCIAL VIDEO SERVICES
Producing a commercial or TVC can be a stressful process. There are immovable deadlines, hidden costs and regulatory bodies to appease. However, with experience comes knowledge. Below, are five of our tips on how to minimise these frustrations during the commercial production process.
Creative Collaboration: Work with our production team from the outset to refine the concept. We know where the pitfalls are when it comes to what you can show on-screen, and the nuances of permissible language.
Have A Clear Objective: Define a clear goal for your TV advertisement. Whether it’s increasing brand awareness, promoting a new product, or driving sales, having a specific objective helps focus the creative process.
Early Approvals: We recommend all creative pre-production materials (such as storyboards and script) are signed-off by all stakeholders early in the process. For a seamless process, we submit these to Clearcast before Production to ensure everything is compliant. Making changes later could jeopardise the whole advert.
Create A Strong Opening: Capture the audience’s attention within the first few seconds. With the average viewer’s attention span being quite short, the beginning of your TVC should be striking and engaging to keep them watching.
Trust The Process: Take full advantage of our in-house production capabilities, and trust the team to guide you through the process. There will always be a reason for how we work!
Optimise For Repeat Viewings: We’ll design your advert in a way that it retains its appeal over multiple viewings. This is crucial for TV campaigns, where the same ad may be broadcast multiple times.
