SPECIALISTS IN EDUCATIONAL VIDEO
We’ve worked with a ton of HE & FE institutions. Some, we’ve worked with continuously for over 8 years.
When we work with you, we want to be a proactive partner. We challenge assumptions, and ways of thinking to tease out the best ideas for your video projects. Whatever your budget, we think creatively to make standout video content for you.
Over the years we’ve won a number of awards for our education videos, including two CASE awards (The Council for Advancement and Support of Education) for specific promotional and hero films for educational institutions.
TYPES OF EDUCATION VIDEO
UNDERSTANDING YOUR AUDIENCE
It’s harder than ever for FE & HE Institutions to stand out. It’s a competitive market, with over 160 Universities in the UK, 230 colleges and a wealth of remote learning opportunities for prospective students to choose from.
Your audience are digital natives, raised on rich, streamable stories and bite-size online content. Online video is where you need to focus your efforts, but you need to do it right.
Marketing for educational Institutions tend to rely on general messaging about future success, or the student experience. However, these messages are no longer cutting it with the Gen-Z demographic.
Your audience abhor inauthenticity, a corporate approach and are not easily fooled by a mere strap-line.
What they do care about are brand values, and what your institution represents. They want to see their own positive values reflected back at them. However, to convey that to your audience, you need authentic stories and content, rich in detail and emotionally engaging.

Marketing Manager
City University London
I’ve worked with Lambda Films on a variety of projects relating to environmental resilience and human safety. Our projects have required working across a number of countries, and in challenging situations and locations. Regardless, each project has been flawlessly organised, and executed and we’re incredibly pleased with the results. They have fulfilled our brief, and enabled us to follow our strategic plan in educating at-risk communities.
Anna Hicks
Volcanologist & Producer
University of East Anglia
I have to say that this project exceeded our expectations. The attitude of the team really stood out, as they worked hard to get things just right. They challenged thinking where they believed they could improve things, and nothing seemed too much for them. They were also first rate in their communication and reliability and definitely added immense value and creativity to this project.
